A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject. First of all, what is a heroine?
According to dictionary.com, heroine [her-oh-in] is a woman of distinguished courage or ability, admired for her brave deeds and noble qualities. She is someone possessing a heroic spirit, and she’s the principal female person who figures in a remarkable action, or as the subject of a poem or story.
Now that the term is clearly clarified, I choose “Heroine” for Tomo-chan because for me, she’s that “principal female person” in Prince of Tennis who possesses a “heroic spirit”. Sure, there’s the cute and angelic Ryuzaki Sakuno, but Sakuno is actually a bit…weak…the type of character who couldn’t even fend for herself. Tomoka, on the other hand, is quite tough and persistent; thus, she will not be easily defeated without a fight.
Some of the remarkable actions of Tomo-chan are the times wherein she stood up for her best friend Sakuno in the face of the meanest bullies, and the times wherein she expressed her unending love, support and loyalty towards Seigaku. And of course, she never failed to make her friends smile and cheer them up whenever they're down. These are the qualities of Tomoka that made me realize that, perhaps, she really is the true heroine of Prince of Tennis.

A short overview:
Being a bossy yet an overall energetic girl, Osakada Tomoka is one of the minor characters of Prince of Tennis, a series created by Konomi Takeshi. Tomoka, at often times, is seen with her best friend Ryuzaki Sakuno as they both cheer for Seigaku, most especially Echizen Ryoma. ** Tomoka is a fair cook and is excellent at sports (it's noted by Sakuno in the beginning of the Yamabuki arc that she has great potential to be a good sportswoman), but she is unable to join the tennis team because she has two toddler brothers to take care of.** (** http://dictionary.sensagent.com/tomoka+osakada/en-en/**)
Tomoka might appear to be very annoying at the beginning due to her bossiness (and loudness), but the truth is, Tomoka has a very bright and colorful personality. She is very blunt, loyal, and supportive. In addition, her child-like personality makes her really charming (especially with those two pigtails!). Also, Tomoka is a tough girl who can protect herself and the people around her. Perhaps that’s the reason why throughout the whole series, no one dared to mess with this extraordinary girl.
